MUZAFFARABAD, Feb 2: AJK President Sardar Mohammed Anwar Khan has summoned the joint sitting of the Legislative Assembly and AJK Council for Wednesday, says a handout issued by the assembly secretariat on Sunday.

The joint sitting would be held to mark the ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’, to be observed throughout AJK and Pakistan on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali would address the joint sitting, which would be presided over by the acting speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Sanaullah Qadri. Last year, President Pervez Musharraf had addressed the joint sitting on the ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’.

Mr Jamali was also expected to visit a refugee camp, where ‘grand feast’ would be hosted for the Kashmiri refugees.

Officials said that symbolic human chains would also be formed at five bridges that link the territory of Azad Kashmir with Pakistan as part of the celebrations.
