HYDERABAD, Jan 31: A group of activists of the Sindhi Hari Tehrik, a peasant wing of the Awami Tehrik, held a token hunger strike outside the local press club on Friday in protest against the kidnapping and torture of a Tehrik leader of Golarchi, Rano Kolhi, two days back.
Talking to newsmen, SHT leader Vishnu Mal, Syed Alam Shah, and Deewan Arumal said that Rano Kolhi was kidnapped near Bhagwandas Kolhi Goth, severely tortured and then abandoned.
They alleged that some influential persons of the area, Tasneem Arain and Hanif Kassai were involved in his kidnapping.
