KARACHI, Jan 29: The Board of Intermediate Education on Wednesday declared the results of certificate of teaching (CT) and primary teaching certificate (PTC) annual examinations 2002.

As many as 826 had registered for the CT exam, 810 appeared, out of whom 547 were declared pass, while results of 65 were withheld.

Fakhra Noreen, seat No 44160 clinched the first position, Nazia Kowser, seat No 44228 got the second position, while the third position went to Shazia Abdul Hannan, seat No 44115.

In the PTC exam, 1151 candidates appeared, out of whom 681 were declared pass, while results of 123 candidates were withheld. The pass percentage remained 66.25. Huma Habib, seat No 41109, clinched the first position, Afshan Naqvi, seat No 41101 remained second, while Shaista Perveen, seat No 40990, got the third position.—PPI
