Demo against Hesco men

By Our Correspondent

DADU, Jan 8: A large number of people, including political workers, staged a demonstration outside the local press club for the third consecutive day here on Wednesday to protest against the corruption of the Hesco officials.

The leaders of the protestors later accused the Hesco officials of demanding a monthly bribe from the consumers, adding that consumers, refusing to pay bribes were being issued detection bills.

KIDNAPPED: Eight outlaws took the local Tapedar, Nazir Hussain Chandio, and Ghulam Basheer Chandio hostages after looting the passengers of a bus on the Indus Highway near Mehar town.

Both the hostages were released by the outlaws five kilometres away from the place of the incident.

Later, the passengers staged a demonstration on the Indus Highway against the robbery and blocked the road for three hours.
