KABUL, Jan 4: Police in Kabul on Saturday seized some 100 rockets from a house in the city, state media reported in the third such haul in as many days.

Authorities discovered the haul in a residence in Da-Kapat neighbourhood of district four, Kabul Television said.

No further information was given. Arms cache seizures have become nearly routine occurrences throughout war-torn Afghanistan as part of an ongoing hunt for extremists, but the discovery of rockets in the capital is less common.—AFP
