The accused had on Dec 20 kidnapped Faiz Mai when she was going to her sister’s house. He tortured, drugged and raped her. Later, he shaved her head and eyebrows.

Mitro told police that he had developed relation with Faiz in 1996 and helped her financially. On Dec 20, one of her relatives (name not disclosed) told him that she had developed relations with another man.

He said he got enraged on this information, kidnapped, tortured and raped her.

Police raided the house of Amir on a tip off and found a running distillery along with 1,500 bottles of liquor. However, Amir and his wife Kulsoom fled from the scene.

According to the residents of the area, Amir had been running the distillery for the last five years. Police received monthly from the accused that was why they did not arrest him.
