SUKKUR: Two die in attack

SUKKUR, Dec 27: Two persons were shot dead while another was injured on Friday after unidentified armed persons opened fire on them in the jurisdiction of the Dubber police station.

Sardar Qurban Kalper Bugti and two of his companions, Naser Kalper Bugti and Sherdil Kalper Bugti, were on their way to Dubber.

The attackers, believed to belong to the Bugti tribe, were riding a white Mehran car.

Sardar Qurban and Naser Kalper Bugti were killed on the spot while Sherdil Bugti was seriously injured in the incident.

The culprits fled from the scene shouting slogans.

Later, police parties were dispatched to search for the vehicle used in the attack.

The search for the attackers and their vehicles was continuing till the filing of this report.
