KARACHI: Reckless driving claims two lives

KARACHI, Dec 26: Reckless driving claimed two lives in the city on Thursday.

A young man died in a road accident in SITE.

Police said Mujeeb Ahmed, aged 30, who was riding on a motorcycle, was knocked down by a speeding truck on State Avenue.

Mujeeb, a student of Mehran Engineering University, died on the spot.

A 15-year-old boy died in a road accident in Nazimabad.

Police said Mohammed Iqbal was run over by a speeding bus of route 2-K near Nazimabad No 7. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

A young man died when fell from a moving train and came under its wheels near Drigh Road railway station on Thursday.
