KARACHI, Dec 17: Scores of localities in city will suffer power shutdown twice, or even thrice a day, in the next three days.

According to a KESC announcement the loadshedding is being carried out for maintenance and repair work on its 250MVA transformer No2 at Baldia Grid Station.

The loadshedding programme is as follows:

From 5.30pm to 6.45pm

BALDIA: Sectors 4, 10, 9-A, 1, 2, 3, 9D, 9E, 9F, Faqir Colony, Zia Colony, Hazara Colony, Islamnagar, Abidabad, Saeedabad Police Station, Telephone Exchange, Women College, Aiwan Chowk.

LYARI: M. Alvi Road, Cafe Jangyan, Chakiwara Post Office, Old Haji Camp, Hari Masjid PMT, German, Umar Lane, Gabol House, Madina Masjid, P-24 PMT, Gulistan Colony, G-Road, Eidgah Ground, Tannery Road, Al-Falah Road, Ramzan ICE, Atmaram Road, Ahmed Shah Road.

SITE NAZIMABAD: Rizvia Colony, Nazimabad, Valika Textile, Usmania Colony, Wahidabad and Gulbahar.
