Pakistan team for Bangkok

LAHORE, Dec, 8: A 17-member Pakistan team left for Thailand to take part in the fifth Asia Cup baseball tournament to be held in Bangkok from Dec 9 to 14.

Team’s manager Khawar Shah has claimed that his team would take a place in the victory stand in the tournament.

Pakistan had secured runners-up position in the last Asia Cup held in Indonesia where it was beaten by Thailand in the final.

Pakistan will also meet India in a group match of the competition. The draws will be taken out in the presence of managers of all the participating countries.

Team: Basit Murtaza, Asjad Mehmood, Nasir Butt, Hafiz Musadaq Hanif, Saqib Butt, Shahzad Anwar, Mohammad Shabbir, Ghulam Hussain, Saleem Hyder, Aashiq Hussain, Fayyaz Ahmad, Latif, Zafar Iqbal, Mohammad Farooq Khan, Mohammad Omar, Imtiaz Ali, Mohammad Riaz Khan.
