NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Nov 30: A woman, Sakina, has lodged a kidnapping case against her ex-husband, Mohammad Yousuf Bhatti, and six of his friends on Thursday.

When her ex-husband learnt that Sakina was being remarried, he along with his six companions kidnapped her. On Thursday, she managed to escape.

She lodged an FIR with the Padidan police stating that she had been kidnapped by her ex-husband and his friends, who have been identified as Abdul Hakeem Lashari, Illahi Bux Lashari, Khalid Khundo, A. Dino Wagan, Ghaus Bux Shar, and Ghulam Shabbir.

She complained that Yousuf, Abdul, Illahi Bux Lashari, and Khalid criminally assaulted her, and added that she was kept in the house of Abdul who kept raping her.

MAN AXED TO DEATH: A man, Ali Sher, 45, was axed to death in the Amir Bux Rajpar village, near Padidan, on Thursday.

He was sleeping in his fields when some unidentified persons killed him with an axe.
