Top teams for Bhutto tournament
KARACHI, Nov 29: All Pakistan Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Memorial football tournament gets under way from Dec 22 at Malir District under the auspices of Zonal Football Tournament Association (Malir) III.
The Chairman of Zone-III Murad Bukhsha Baloch giving details of the tournament Friday informed that the tournament will be held in two phases.
In the first phase matches for qualifying round will be held in four different grounds of District Malir.
Baloch said that eight successful teams from first phase will move for the second and final round of the tournament.
He said that front line teams of the country including PIA, KPT, Habib Bank, National Bank, KESC, KMC, Pak PWD, Pakistan Machine Tool Factory, besides National Champion WAPDA, Allied Bank, Railways, Crescent Mills Faisalabad, PAF, POF Wah Cantt, KRL, PTCL, Army, Navy, Aghaz Quetta, Afghan Club Chamman, Khuzdar, Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Mirurkhas, Nawabshah, Sukkur, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sialkot, Kohat and Peshawar are taking parting in the tournament.
The final will be played on Jan 26.
