HYDERABAD, Nov 27: Two brothers, Lal Mohammad Palari and Qadir Palari, both students of class-III, drowned in the River Indus here on Wednesday.

The two brothers were the sons of Hanif Palari, who is a plumber and resident of a katchi abadi, Bakhtawar Colony, in Qasimabad.

Both the boys were said to have dived into the river, while playing with their friends near the River Indus bypass road, assuming that the water was shallow.

They were pulled out of the river in unconscious condition and both of them died while they were being rushed to the Civil Hospital.
