HYDERABAD: Teachers demand

HYDERABAD, Nov 19: The Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association has criticized the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyder-abad, for delaying payment to the college teachers for examination duties and assessment of examination papers.

Speaking in a meeting of the SPLA, Hyderabad region, held here on Monday, Professor Abdur Razzaq Bhatti and others demanded that the payment to teachers should be made by Nov 25, failing which they reserved the right to protest.

ELECTED: The district officer, cooperative, has notified that Abdul Ghani Tahir, Mohsin Ali Khan, Ghulam Rasool, Afaq Alam, Shad Wali, S. M. Saleem, Sayed Sajjad Hussain Shah, Naizi Mansoor Nawaz and Aftab Anwar have been elected as members of the managing committee of the Zeal Pak Workers Cooperative Housing Society, Hyderabad.
