PTCL service remains cut

SWABI, Nov 11: The local staff of the Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) have failed to restore the telephone service to the Polodand and its suburbs.

Some miscreants had cut the telephone cables near the Salim Khan  town on Saturday night. The service had been suspended for the last two days in the areas.

The PTCL subscribers complained that the miscreants cut the main cable three times which linked the areas to the Salim Khan digital exchange.

The officials claimed that the efforts were being made to restore  the service. It would take one more day to repair the cable as Saturday and Sunday were public holidays, they added.
