Musharraf felicitates Jiang
ISLAMABAD, Nov 8: President Gen Pervez Musharraf has congratulated President Jiang Zemin and general secretary of the central committee of the Communist Party of China on the beginning of 16th congress of the party.
In a message, the president expressed his confidence that the congress would achieve its objectives and its decisions would lead China to greater prosperity and economic development and contribute to peace and progress in the region and the world.
He said Pakistan would continue to work with China for strengthening and expansion of cooperation.
