“Allah selected the sacred night of 27th Ramazanul Mubarak for Pakistan’s independence,” the President said.

The President said on one hand getting freedom during the month was a spiritual honour for the nation, while on the other hand it also carried a message that the Pakistani society must be reflective of a sacrificing, tolerant and poor loving society.

“Every moment of month of Ramazan is moment of worship besides providing us a spiritual training where we learn to completely submit to the will of God. This also leads us to a disciplined life with humbleness,” the President said.

He said, all of our actions should reflect the unity of Umet, follower of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) who was messenger of universal peace and harmony among the nations send by Allah Almighty to lead the human kind on the right path.
