PPP asks parties to end deadlock

PESHAWAR, Oct 25: The NWFP president of People’s Party Parliamentarians, Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti, has said that delay in the transfer of power will prove harmful for the restoration of democracy.

In a statement on Friday, he appealed to political parties to present their formula for the formation of a new government without delay.

He said that if the PPP came to power it would take positive steps for the economic development of the country besides resolving the most urgent issues of unemployment and price-hike.

He welcomed the victory of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal.—APP
