KARACHI: Man, woman shot dead in Gulbahar

KARACHI, Oct 23: A young couple was shot dead by two assailants in Gulbahar on Wednesday evening.

Police said Nilam Bibi, 20 and Umar Zameen, 20, were shot dead in House No. 101-Hasan Colony Gulbahar by two assailants identified as Sultan and Jalal.

The couple died on the spot receiving multiple bullet wounds, police said.

Police said victim’s relatives residing in the same neighbourhood identified the two assailants.

According to details, the couple had fled Dir (NWFP) and were about to marry.

They were living in the Hasan Colony with their relatives, police said.

However, police said that the woman was already married with Feroz Khan, who has also been seen in the city.

Later, their bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem examination, police added.
