4 killed in BD ’copter crash

DHAKA, Oct 19: A Bangladesh air force helicopter on a training flight crashed on Saturday in southeastern Bangladesh, killing all four people on board, defence ministry officials said here.

The Soviet-made MI-17 chopper, which took off from its base in Chittagong, went down in Ukhiya, some 300kms from Dhaka, near the Myanmar border, a defence official said.—AFP
