KARACHI: Soomro visits blast victims

KARACHI, Oct 18: Governor Mohammedmian Soomro visited the Aga Khan Hospital on Friday and inquired about the condition of victims of parcel bomb blasts.

The governor announced a compensation of Rs 0.2 million for each of the injured cop.

He directed the concerned authorities to ensure availability of all possible medical treatment to the injured and according to the satisfaction of their families.

The governor also directed the provision of interim relief amount for the families of injured cop for meeting day-to-day expenses.

Soomro said all resources were being used for the arrest of culprits involved and to bring them to justice.

Earlier, he visited the offices DIG Operation and CID and had an on-the-spot appraisal about parcel bomb explosions.—APP
