By Our Correspondent

SANGHAR, Oct 16: A gang of bandits looted several shops in the main market of Sarhari town and kidnapped three people on Tuesday.

At least 11 bandits stormed the market and resorted to heavy firing for about 15 to 20 minutes.

The bandits looted shops and took away Seth Sham Sunder, his nephews, Tulsi Das and Ghanshyam Das, and their servant, Naresh Mal. They released Sunder after a short while.

The Sarhari locality is in the grip of terror after the incident and the people of the area observed a shutter-down strike.
