AIOU criticizes NTC

ISLAMABAD, Oct 14: Allama Iqbal Open University has criticized the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) for failing to shift telephone lines to its new block.

The official spokesperson for the varsity, Ubaidullah Mumtaz, said three months ago, the varsity had shifted its three important departments — Students Advisory Cell; AIOU Regional Campus for Islamabad-based students and Public Relation Office — to the new building.

Since then, the varsity had been asking the NTC to transfer the telephone lines from the old section to the new block. However, the corporation is not paying any heed to their requests despite the fact that AIOU has already paid the required bills, he said. —Our Reporter
