SUKKUR, Oct 14: Two women were killed by their husbands over the pretext of Karo-kari in Sukkur and Larkana districts on Monday.
A woman was killed by her husband in the Vasti Jivanshah of Sukkur on the pretext of Karo-kari.
The woman, Sadal, 18, was sitting in an agriculture field when her with another person husband, Maitelo, came there and gunned her down, police said.
The alleged paramour of the woman, whose name could not be ascertained, escaped.
The police have arrested Mateelo.
Our Larkana correspondent adds: Bakhshal Magsi of Admani village killed one of his two wives, Jadul Magsi, on Mon-day.
The murderer, the Behram police said, was provoked by a fight between his two wives.
The police said that the killer gagged his first wife while she was working in the fields. The murderer later escaped from the scene of the crime.
