Azam Tariq’s detention extended

LAHORE, Sept 25: The Lahore High Court Review Board on Wednesday extended the detention of Maulana Azam Tariq till Oct 30.

The detention of Maulana Muhammad Ashraf and Maulana Muhammad Tanvir of Bhakkar was, however, not extended by the review board, and they were set at liberty.

Maulana Azam Tariq, Maulana Muhammad Ashraf and Maulana Muhammad Tanvir were produced before the review board comprising Justices Tassadaq Husain Jilani, Mian Najamuz Zaman and Raja Muhammad Sabir under heavy police protection. —Reporter
