PESHAWAR, Sept 9: A four-member delegation of the European Union Election Observation Mission held a meeting with PPP (Sherpao) chairman Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao at the People’s House here on Monday.
The delegation, led by John Cushnahan, comprised by deputy head of the mission Oskar Lehner, EU long-term observer for NWFP Dr Renate Kobber and Dr Staffan Darnolf.
The visiting EU mission discussed the process of general election and the working of Election Commission of Pakistan with Sherpao. The political situation with particular reference to NWFP also remained focus of attention in the meeting.
