Pakistan face Germany today

KARACHI, Aug 30: Pakistan face a stiff challenge when they meet world and defending champions Germany in the opener of the 24th Champions Trophy hockey tournament which begins Saturday in Cologne, Germany.

Former world champions The Netherlands, Olympic bronze medallists Australia, Asian Games gold medal winners India, and South Korea, will also be battling for the coveted title.

Pakistan Television has arranged live coverage of all Pakistan matches, besides the playoffs, and the final. The Pakistan-Germany game will be telecast at 4.15pm (PST).
