KARACHI: 20 varsity employees sacked


KARACHI, Aug 17: Twenty employees of Karachi University have been dismissed from service on account of continuous absence without intimation.

They include three steno typists, six UDCs, three CCTs, on lab assistant, one stenographer, one junior accounts clerk, one dispatch rider, one office assistant and three messengers, says a press release issued on Saturday.

Their names are Mohammed Azhar Mughal, Najeebur Rahman, Mohammed Zafar, Mohammed Tahir, Mohammed Imran, Aslam Pervez, Anees Ahmed, Syed Kamal Masood, Abdul Samad Khan, Saleem Ahmed, Musarrat Ali, Nadeem Baig, Jameel Qureshi, Abdul Latif, Mohammed Tahir Qamar, Rahman Shuja, Syed Muzaffaruddin, Mohammed Sameer, Mohammed Swaleh and Samiul Haque. — ppi
