PESHAWAR, Aug 13: A four-day workshop on earthquakes and landslides will be held at the summer campus of the Peshawar University, Baragali, Abbottabad district, from Aug 19 to 22.

The workshop has been organized by the geography department and centre of excellence in geology, University of Peshawar, and Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission.

The workshop will be attended by over 100 geo-scientists, environmentalists and civil engineers. A number of eminent scientists will talk about various aspects of earthquakes and landslide hazards to create awareness among the people.
