KHAIRPUR, Aug 9: The Assistant Mukhtiarkar, Faiz Ganj, on Friday registered two separate cases against two tapedars, Jamaluddin and Munshi Niaz Ahmed.

The complainant stated that both tapedars had prepared fake record and did not deposit any tax recovery during this year, to the Mukhtiarkar, Faiz Ganj. SUICIDE: A teenage girl, Sakina Khatoon, 16, committed suicide by taking poison after being angry with her elder sister here on Thursday in a village, Waryo Wahan, near Daraza Sharif.

While a youth, Anwar Ali, attempted to commit suicide by taking poison in a village, Islami, near Kot Lalo.

He was admitted in a local hospital. His condition was critical.

DEMO: Many citizens and office bearers of social organizations held a demonstration against the Hesco sub-division Khairpur in front of the press club on Thursday.

They told the newsmen that Hesco officials in Khairpur District were harassing the consumers and misbehaving with them.

They said that detection bills had huge amounts on them but the Hesco authorities were not allowing the consumers to make their payment through monthly instalments as it was not possible for the poor consumers to pay huge amounts all at once.
