KARACHI, Aug 3: The National Workers Party (NWP) on Saturday announced to form an electoral alliance with the Sindh Democratic Alliance (SDA).

The announcement was made at a press conference at the residence of SDA president Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh.

A number of prominent leaders of other parties also announced to join the SDA.

These included Ismail Baloch of the PPP, Yar Mohammad Baloch, Noman Baloch, Agha Sher, Dr Mohammad Khan Sher, president of the Doctors’ Forum, Shahid Hamed Qureshi, Gulzar Jumani, Mohammad Siddique Soomro, and Umer Pangawala, a leader of PML (QA).

From Lyari, Shakeel Baloch, Anwar Khan Baloch along with their colleagues also joined the party.

Imtiaz Shaikh welcomed the leaders and said: “we are struggling for power but will not compromise to obtain power”.—PPI
