KARACHI: India warned against initiating war

By Our Reporter

KARACHI, July 30: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Mohammad Aziz Khan, has said that “if India makes a mistake of initiating a war against us, it would regret for ever having made this mistake”.

He was speaking at the annual convocation of the Air War College here on Monday where graduating officers of 15 Air War Course were awarded degrees.

Recognising the role of PAF in national defence, the CJCSC said Pakistan Air Force is a great service. Whenever called upon for national defence, it has fully demonstrated its ability by accepting the challenge from an adversary many times bigger in size.

He said that the PAF has earned acknowledgment for its exceptional performance not only from the nation but also from rest of the world. He said such an exceptional edge could not have been possible without exceptional training imparted by institutions, such as AWC.

Earlier, Air Vice Marshal Maqbool Ali Shah explained the role of the institution in the evolution of strategic thinking.
