KARACHI: Five cars, 10 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, July 27: Fifteen vehicles — five cars and 10 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Saturday, the police said.

The cars were stolen. Three motorcycles were hijacked. Seven others were stolen.

The police also claimed on Saturday to have recovered four cars and two motorcycles in the city.

ROBBERIES: Three robberies were committed in the city on Saturday, the police said.

Two armed men robbed a shopkeeper of Rs30,000 in Joharabad.

Shahzad Ahmed lodged an FIR at Ferozabad police station that unidentified men deprived him of Rs23,800.

Tariq Wazir lodged a complaint at Gulistan-Jauhar police station that five armed men barged into his house and got away with cash and valuables.
