Kidnappers free former banker

LAKKI MARWAT, July 23: A former bank official, who was kidnapped near Chashma in the Dera Ismail Khan district a few days back, was recovered from the mountain range of the Lakki Marwat district on Monday evening.

Zahidur Rehman Qureshi was kidnapped and his jeep taken away by the Mosami gang of kidnappers. Police found the vehicle abandoned near the Sheikh Badin and Darra Tang mountains.

The kidnappers freed Qureshi after receiving a huge ransom, but the district police officer, when asked, said no ransom had been paid to the kidnappers, reports our correspondent.
