LANDI KOTAL, July 22: The Tehrik-i-Insaf, Khyber Agency, has warned of boycotting the October general election and launching of a protest movement throughout the tribal areas if Fata reforms were not implemented forthwith.

Tehrik-i-Insaf Khyber Agency chief organizer Javed Afridi in a statement also criticized the military government for its failure to hold local bodies elections in Fata. He urged the election commission to immediately announce local bodies election schedule for tribal areas.

Meanwhile, the Khyber Political Alliance has convened an all parties meeting at Peshawar Press Club to decide its future line of action regarding government decision of postponing local bodies elections in tribal areas. They also threatened to start hunger strike if their demand for implementation of Fata reforms was not met.
