ISLAMABAD, July 21: An 18-year-old girl committed suicide while a man drowned in Soan river on Sunday.

Shahnaz Bibi, the mother of Nabila, told the police that she had been insisting her daughter not to continue her education which annoyed her.

“It drove her into distress and she went to the bathroom and drank acid,” she said.
