Ecevit faces no-trust motion
ANKARA, July 18: A religious opposition party ratcheted up the pressure on Turkish Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit on Thursday, announcing plans to submit a no-confidence motion in his minority coalition government.
However, parliamentary sources said it was unlikely the Saadet party of Recai Kutan would be able to garner the necessary support.—AFP
