Pakistan beat Spain 4-2

LAHORE July 17: Pakistan hockey team, currently on a warm up tour of Spain ahead of the Manchester Commonwealth Games, beat Spain 4-2 in the second Test to take 1-0 lead in the four Test series, according to the information provided here Wednesday by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).

The opening Test played on July 14 ended in a 1-1 draw while in the coming tie Tuesday the touring side scored a firm victory.

The hosts Spain took lead in the first half and the visitors ended the first session 1-1.

Pakistan scored two goals from ace penalty corner hitter, Sohail Abbas and captain Muhammad Sarwar and Mudassar Khan scored one goal apiece.

The third Test will be played tomorrow.—APP
