LAHORE, July 10: The Punjab government has constituted two teams for investigation of the murder of Ravi Town Nazim Aftab Asghar Dar.

District Nazim Mian Amer said this during a meeting of the Lahore District Council held at the Jinnah Hall on Wednesday to condole the death of Aftab Asghar Dar.

The house adopted a unanimous resolution calling upon the federal and NWFP governments to identify and arrest the killers of the late Aftab Asghar Dar so that they could be punished for their crime. By another resolution, the LDC paid homage to Aftab Asghar Dar and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.

District Naib Nazim Farooq Amjad Mir presided over the meeting which was also addressed by Town Nazimeen Khwaja Ahmad Hassaan, Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf, Chaudhry Ashiq Dayal and several others.
