PESHAWAR, July 2: National Awami Party Pakistan has rejected the proposed constitutional package and termed it a threat to the parliamentary system.
In a statement, NAPP leader Zar Ali Khan Musazai said the amendments would completely change the undisputed Constitution and introduce presidential system. He said that the assemblies under the amended constitution would be rubber-stamps and all the powers would be enjoyed by the president.—PPI
