Two brothers shot dead

SHIKARPUR, June 30: Ten armed men shot dead two brothers, Bandah Ali Chandio and Liaquat Ali Chandio, in Dakhan town on Sunday.

The assailants first shot dead Mr Bandah in the fish market. They then barged into his house in Mull Chandio and opened fire killing his brother, Liaquat, and injuring his nephew, Shahnawaz Chandio.

The Dakhan police have registered a case against the 10 Chandios -- Talib, Sikandar, Riaz, Rajab, Nazir, Ishaque, Imdad, Hazar Khan, Shaman and Nazeer.

Meanwhile, four armed men shot dead a landlord of Garhi Yasin Taluka near Habib Jakhro village on the Naushahro Abro-Garhi Yasin link road while he was riding his motorcycle.
