Beckham’s hairdresser gets SOS
LONDON, June 18: David Beckham’s hairdresser was expected in Japan Wednesday after an emergency call from his Spice Girl wife Victoria after seeing the England captain’s wilting mohican haircut on TV.
“Victoria rang me about cutting David’s hair,” top stylist Aidan Phelan was quoted as saying after rain left Beckham’s spikey haircut drooping in Saturday’s match against Denmark.
“It seems that it needs a bit of a trim,” Phelan added.
Phelan would not comment on reports that the England captain, known for surprises that have included a shaven head and eyebrow, was preparing a brand new radical style for Friday.
Victoria is seven months pregnant with the couple’s second child and staying at home.—dpa
