Three rockets fired at gas well
QUETTA, June 14: Unknown persons fired three rockets on a gas well No 3 of Uch gas field late on Thursday night causing disruption to gas supply as the well caught fire.
According to official sources the rockets were fired from the hilly area of Uch, which landed and exploded near the gas well. The engineers and other staff rushed to the gas well and disconnected gas supply from the affected well.
After controlling fire in the gas well they launched repairing work. According to sources gas supply would be restored some time on Saturday from the well No 3.
According to another report some unknown people in Kohlu fired four rockets late on Thursday night, which were exploded in different areas of the township. One rocket exploded near a petrol pump. However, the pump was safe.
Three other rockets rocked killi Mushtaq.
