LAHORE, June 12: Fancied chestnut filly Royal Prosper made short work of her nine rivals to pick up the spoils in the feature event of the Lahore Gymkhana races at the Racecourse on Wednesday.

Even-money favourite Royal Prosper outpaced chestnut Prince Of Peace by one-and-three quarters of a length, who nosed out the dark bay mare Senna to third place. The chestnut gelding Crysler completed the frame by a short-head verdict in photo- finish.

Favourites swept the card of six events. All events were contested over the sprinting distance of 800 metres.

Trainer Naseer Hussain sent out two winners. He saddled Haroon Prince and Morning Bird in the first and fifth race, respectively.
