Four die in accident

BAJAUR, May 22: Four people, including a subedar of the Bajaur Levies, were killed, while two others were seriously injured in a road accident here on Tuesday night.

The accident occurred near the Civil Colony in Khaar when a Suzuki car (B-2187) ran over pedestrians while saving a cycle rider, killing Sher Alam Khan, a subedar of the levies force, on the spot. Three other people, namely Abdul Khaliq, Kainat Bibi and Asmatullah, died in the hospital.

The injured, who were identified as Mohammad Noor and Shamsul Wakeel were admitted to the Agency Headquarters Hospital in Khaar.

The local administration registered a case and arrested the car driver.
