KARACHI, May 15: The University of Karachi on Wednesday announced the results of BL first and second years and LLB final year (supplementary) examinations 2001.

According to a KU notification, 1,145 candidates from the Govt Islamia Law College, S. M. Govt Law College, and Federal Govt Urdu Law College had appeared in the examinations, out of which 757 were declared pass. Results of six candidates were withheld for various reasons.

In all, 379 candidates had appeared in the first year BL examinations, out of which 286 were declared successful. The pass percentage remained 75.46.

In the second year BL examinations, a total of 261 candidates appeared and 135 candidates passed the exams. The pass percentage remained 51.72.

533 candidates were registered for the LLB final year (supplementary) examinations, out of which 505 appeared and 336 were declared pass with pass percentage of 66.53.
