2 workers killed in accident

SUKKUR, May 11: Two workers were killed and another was injured when a truck overturned near the Sukkur bypass on Saturday.

The truck (QAS-711), loaded with stones, which was on the way to Kor Bungalow Shahdadkot, overturned after hitting the wall of the bypass.

The driver, Saeed Akber Khilji, 25, resident of Quetta, and a worker, Haji Bilal, resident of Kotri Kabir, were killed while Ghulam Akber was injured.

The bodies of the killed persons were shifted to the Sukkur Civil Hospital which were later sent to their respective towns through Edhi ambulances.
