Punjab U-16 capture title

LAHORE, April 17: Punjab with 31 points won the Inter- Provincial Under-16 karate championship at Quetta, according to a message received Wednesday.

Balochistan with 28 points took the second position. NWFP bagged 14 points and Islamabad made five points to secure the third and fourth position, respectively.

Results:

40 kgs: Babar Ali (Punjab), Fakhar-uz-Zaman (Balochistan), Baqar Ali (NWFP).

45 kgs: Mohammad Ahmed (Punjab), Muhammad Kashif (NWFP), Arif (Islamabad).

50 kgs: Muhammad Abbas (Punjab), Qaiser Urooj (Islamabad), Manzoor (Balochistan).

55 kgs: Sher Ali (Balochistan), Muhammad Ayub (Punjab), Baz Mohammad (NWFP).

60 kgs: Sohaib Butt (Balochistan), Muhammad Qasim (Punjab), Arslan (NWFP).

Above  60 kgs: Muhammad Nadeem (Punjab),  Dilawar  Khan (Balochsitan), Muhammad Ali (NWFP).
