Shamyl steals limelight

LAHORE, April 16: Shah Shamyl Alam helped Sports Bar beat Guard Rice 9-8 in the opening match of the Malik Ata Muhammad Memorial Cup polo tournament Tuesday.

Shamyl scored eight goals with two hat tricks and also struck the decisive goal in the fourth chukker when both the teams were equal 8-all.

For the losers, Taimur Malik and Kamran Noor-ud-Din scored three goals each.
