KARACHI: Referendum committees

KARACHI, April 10: The government of Sindh has constituted coordination committees at provincial and district levels for smooth conduct of the forthcoming presidential referendum.

The provincial coordination committee will be headed by minister for local government, while the home secretary will act as its secretary, and IG police and secretaries of the local government and the information departments, will be members.

The district Nazims will be the conveners of the committees, whereas the DCOs and the district police officers will be the members, and the EDOs will act as secretaries of the committees.—PPI
